230+ volunteers. So many roles. One incredible team.

Behind every Dowerin Machinery Field Days is a team of people who give their time, energy, skills, and enthusiasm to make it all happen.
This year, more than 230 volunteers came together across the Field Days, taking on an incredible range of roles from catering, ticketing and gates to safety, parking, information, event ambassadors, exhibitor support, couriers, office assistance, and everything in between.
Some have been part of the Field Days family for many years. Others joined us for the first time. Some brought years of knowledge and experience, while others came ready to learn, develop new skills and try something different.

Dowerin Events Management is proud of our Volunteers. Through our volunteering program Wheatbelt communities can raise funds for local projects and/or organisations.

Every contribution matters

And the impact of that contribution reaches well beyond the Field Days.

Through our volunteering program, Dowerin Events Management makes a community contribution for every approved hour volunteered, paid directly to the volunteer's nominated organisation.

But it doesn't stop there.

Our Community Funding program provides $30,000 each year to help support registered community groups with events and projects that benefit Dowerin and surrounding communities.

So, when our volunteers give their time, they aren't just helping us deliver WA's premier agricultural event.

They're helping invest in the future of our communities.

That's something we are incredibly proud of.

We are also committed to supporting our volunteers through training, pre-event workshops, opportunities to develop new skills, references, volunteer features and—importantly—listening to their feedback so we can continue improving the volunteering experience.

But perhaps the greatest thing our volunteers bring is something you can't put a dollar value on.

Community spirit.

The early starts.
The long days.
The problem-solving.
The teamwork.
The laughs.
The willingness to jump in and help.
The friendships that continue long after the gates close.

That's the Dowerin volunteer spirit.

To every one of our 230+ volunteers, whether this was your first year or you've been with us for many years, thank you.
