Who we are
Supporting agricultural and community prosperity
Since 1964, DMFD has united Western Australia's agricultural industry, showcasing the products and services that support farmers and primary producers in a dynamic trade environment. Dowerin brings together decision-makers across the full supply chain, from agribusiness to machinery, equipment, technology, livestock, and professional services.
The event provides a vital platform to promote the Wheatbelt and agriculture to a broader audience, highlighting the significance of the sector to Western Australia's economy and future. Beyond business and industry, DMFD brings together families and communities from across the state, creating connections that strengthen our agricultural hub.
Our Audience
The event attracts diverse visitors, with two primary segments: families with children and adult couples aged 55+. The largest single demographic remains those aged 19-30, representing the next generation of agricultural leaders. While 40% of attendees travel from metropolitan Perth, 60% come from rural and regional Western Australia, reflecting the event's strong regional roots. Interstate attendance continues to grow, with visitors from Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland, and the Northern Territory. Significantly, at least one-third of all visitors work directly in agriculture and farming.

How we can help you
DMFD has the following marketing and add on benefits to assist you in connecting to our visitors; showcasing your products and services and driving visitation to your site location.
Larger demonstrations, including machinery and drones, may also be conducted in the Demo Area and featured on our DMFD App at the discretion of the Event Manager.
Digital - a paid campaign across DMFD social platforms of Facebook and Instagram are available.
Official Program - advertising in our glossy magazine, collated and produced by Dowerin Events Management. The only publication featuring event maps, exhibitor and site sharer listings and around the ground's activities.
Public Address and Radio Advertising - pre-recorded public address announcements are broadcast on rotation around the event site over loudspeakers.
App - promotion on the DMFD app is limited to sponsors and demonstrations, and other event activities at the discretion of the Event Manager.
Official DMFD Photographer and Videographer - let us know what you plan to exhibit and showcase so it may be considered for inclusion in the official photo gallery and highlights videos that are published across DMFD channels.
